1. Key LBG concepts

This guide is intended to be used by both corporate entities and social entities, normally but not exclusively NGOs and foundations. When referring to contributions, the Entity is the organisation using the application for reporting, be it a company or a social entity. However, when used for capturing results, outputs and impacts, beneficiary organisations will solely be social organisations and in the event the reporting entity is a social organisation, its results will be reported as the reporting entity.

Initiatives

Specific actions that are carried out

Initiatives are those concrete actions of a social and/or environmental nature carried out by an entity, with the aim of improving and benefiting the situation or living conditions of people, organisations or the environment.

Projects

Classification to group the initiatives

Since the initiatives of an entity can be very different from each other, they can be classified and grouped into a higher classification: Projects.
A project, therefore, may contain 1 or several initiatives.
