Purpose of the Guide
The objective of this Guide is to describe, with precision, the criteria that must be applied when filling in the indicators related to corporate volunteering, of the LBG Spain Group, in order to facilitate a correct data collection that provides homogeneity and rigor to them. .

Introduction
Business collaboration in social projects has multiple impacts on the Community, benefiting people, third sector organizations and the environment.
Within this practice of corporate Social Action, is the Corporate Volunteering that is gaining more and more relevance within the social responsibility activities carried out by many companies.

Companies need to demonstrate that the social actions they carry out with their employees have value and in this challenge they seek methodologies for evaluating these activities.

One of the main measurement standards for corporate social action, contemplated by Corporate Volunteering, is the LBG framework.
LBG facilitates the capture of measurement data of all social activities in favor of the Community, which a company carries out beyond its business. Within the Business Social Action, the voluntary dedication of employees to social initiatives is also included, both in time assigned by the company and in their own time. Volunteering activities favor the community, volunteers and the company itself, which provides opportunities for its employees to participate in social and / or environmental initiatives.
